This script writing class focuses on the fundamentals of structure in a script. Whether you are troubleshooting a script you've been working on or writing for the first time this class focuses on the building blocks of storytelling and getting it out of your head and onto the page!
You may cancel and receive credit up to 7 days before the start date of the class. However, within 7 days of the start date of the class, no credit will be issued. Due to the nature and structure of this class, you will not receive credit or be able to make up any portion of this class for any reason if you cancel or miss a class after the start date.
Shara Ashley Zeiger, Screenwriter/Playwright and Teaching Artist
Shara Ashley Zeiger is a screenwriter/playwright and teaching artist. Her play "Roughly Speaking" is in development for an Off-Broadway run, and her films "The Red Lotus", "JOE", "Faustess", and "Tupperware Party" are all traveling the festival circuit. Shara devises new works with The Hivemind Collective, and serves on the reading committee for The National Playwright Conference at The O'Neill. Shara has taught with Story Pirates, Broadway Bound Kids, Serious Fun, Catholic Charities GED Program, and The Queens Theatre (Where she developed over 20 new plays and musicals with students at the theatre and in various residencies in the NYC Schools). Shara sits on the Board for the New York Educational Theater Association, She runs The Platform Group, and is a proud member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA & The Dramatists Guild.
