The word PUJA in Sanskrit means reverence, honor, homage, adoration, and worship.
Let us begin this new year in silence, meditation, ritual and an honoring of GANESHA the REMOVER OF OBSTACLES. This Puja has become an AGR tradition over the past few years. A chance to come together as a community and set our intentions and honoring of a fresh new year clear of the blocks of the old and the patterns and habits that have kept us small and stuck. We host this ritual around the Hindu Deity Ganesha. Ganesha is a very popular god in Hinduism, and is one of the most worshipped. Hindu tradition states that Ganesha is a god of wisdom, success and good luck. He is also giver of different types of favors. The Hindu tradition calls Ganesha as the Vighneshvara. "Vighneshvara" in Sanskrit language means one who is the lord of obstacles or difficulties. Thus, the Hindu tradition states that by worshiping Ganesha, one can remove all obstacles and difficulties.
Spend a night with fellow artists removing all obstacles for the most abundant and exciting year yet. Bring your own life into sacred balance with all you are meant to manifest.
