About this class:
Do you have an audition coming up and would like to have a place to workout your scene? Would you like to have a place where you could workout new scenes for classes? Are there scenes that you’ve been using that you need to workout how to breathe new life into them? Welcome to The Audition Workout! We’ve created a forum for actors to bring in scenes and work on them with a coach. It’s like training before the big game! Whether you need to just say it out loud with someone or need help finding more colors and levels, The Audition Workout gives you the opportunity to pre-game your classes and auditions in the most constructive way possible. Debbie Troche--actor, coach and head host of AGR’s casting-director intensives--offers her unique insight to help you bring your scene to the next level. She’s hosted hundreds of classes and been in the room with every single CD at AGR and the one thing all casting directors say is crucial to a great audition is preparation. The Audition Workout will show you how to make the specific choices that will have you living and breathing in your scene so you can knock that audition or class out of the park! Whether you workout once a month, once a week, or right before that big audition, The Audition Workout is there to help you get your scene into the best shape possible!

Debbie has been an intensive host at AGR for years. She has been present at all of the Q&As and has been in the room with every single CD who comes to AGR. She is there for all of the feedback, adjustments, headshot/resume critiques, and knows what actors do right and what they continue to get wrong. In addition, Deb is a working actor just like everyone else and understands the struggles and questions actors have. When Deb was starting out, she didn't have a mentor that she could ask questions of. She had to learn the hard way, until she found AGR. Now, she's happy to be there to help others.
