Our lives and the art we were designed to make with our lives are intimately connected to our relationships. This workshop series will look at an actors most vital relationships and how to strengthen and nurture them for our greatest inner and outer success. Come to one or all four workshops in the series. Each will build on the previous to give the most well rounded experience of the topic and its holistic and business applications.

Week Four: Relationship to Casting Directors and the Business featuring ROSS MEYERSON
Date: Thursday, June 1st 7PM-9PM
Inspired by Ross Meyerson - a class devoted to cultivating a healthy mutual relationship with casting and other giants in the business. Learn to connect authentically within your work and within the room before and after.
Week One: Relationship to Breath and Voice
Date: Thursday, May 11th 7PM-9PM
Learn how to cultivate your authentic voice and find relaxation in the energy body even under the duress of nerves and auditioning. Build confidence and intimacy with your most important sensory instruments.
Week Two: Relationship to Mind and Body
Date: Thursday, May 18th 7PM-9PM
Use the thoughts of your mind for your audition and not against it. Develop a pre audition or performance ritual to relax and unleash the body. Find what energy in your physical body is most needed to release and be utilized for optimal performance.
Week Three: Relationship to Character and Self
Date: Thursday, May 25th 7PM-9PM
Deepen your most important relationship - your relationship with yourself. Once you develop that intimacy, tapping into the deep consciousness of your characters will follow. Use your emotional body, your values and preferences to inform your work and strengthen your character point of view and your self acceptance and actualization.
We do not offer refunds, but we do offer credit. Cancellations must be made 7 days or more in advance of a class, event, or intensive in order to receive a credit. You can cancel the class online in our booking system or via email.
Unless otherwise noted, if you cancel within 7 days of the class, event, or intensive due to sickness or industry related work, we require a doctor's note or proof of work in order to issue a credit.
Cancellations within 24 business hours of the class, event, or intensive and/or no-shows will NOT be credited under any circumstance. For example, if your class is on Sunday, you must cancel before the end of business on Friday.
Natalie Roy, Yoga Instructor & Co-Founder of C.R.E.A.T.E. Workshops
Natalie Roy is an actor, author and holistic teacher. She has performed across North America on stage and screen and has appeared in such projects as: The Affair, Law and Order: SVU, The Detour, Power, The Following, Being Erica, Murdoch Mysteries and in two films directed by award winning director Sidney Furie. Natalie authored her first book: 30 Years, 30 Lessons several years ago and has since collaborated on The I’mPossible Project and the upcoming CREATE Book: Let’s Play! Natalie is a 500 hour certified Yoga Teacher and a meditation teacher specializing in Visualization technique, positive psychology for actors, the Yoga Sutras and taking ancient Eastern philosophy and practices and bringing them into the audition room and onto set. Natalie is passionate about bringing together the practices and techniques of meditation, mindfulness and “learned optimism” with the artistic process. Natalie Co-Founded C.R.E.A.T.E to do just that. “Nothing makes me happier than creating and seeing others live a life they love, doing the same.
