We have recently switched to holding our large one night events at Simple Studios. The mains reasons being that their space is beautiful, intimate, quiet, with several modest-size studios and they are very affordable. The staff is incredibly helpful, organized, the vibe is relaxed and they are conveniently located. (they are located on 29th Street between 6/7) They also have free WiFi, a nice lobby area, healthy snacks to purchase, and private, well-maintained bathrooms. We love them.

Melissa Hamburg Photography: Melissa’s photos have been successfully used for film, stage and television casting, book jackets, CD covers and corporate promotion.  Her headshot photography encompasses the most desirable combination of elements to produce an honest, quality representation of every subject.  A spacious, naturally lit studio and a fun, casual atmosphere encourage each person to feel relaxed and to enjoy the moment. 

Jordan Matter Photography: If you tell Jordan that you were referred by Jennifer Rudolph, you will receive $100 off. Although I advocate not spending more than $500, Jordan's prices are a bit more but I believe he offers a lifetime guarantee or a reshoot rate that is extremely generous. His work is outstanding.

BEST L.A. HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHER

Leyna Juliet Weber is awesome and very affordable. Like Melissa Hamburg, Leyna has a wonderful knack for capturing an actor's essence on camera and every actor truly looks like their headshot. She makes actors feels very comfortable in her presence which further allows them to just let go and be themselves which is what we as casting directors want to see. 

BEST ACTING COACH

Clyde has been coaching actors for over 10 years. His work is transformative, not only on the professional level but on the personal level as well.  Clyde strengthens the actor’s connection to self and teaches the actor to deeply trust their innate instincts and wisdom. Clyde shows you clearly how your mechanisms are working and what is possibly getting in the way of your success.
