Cancellation Policy
We do not offer refunds but we do offer credit. In order to receive a credit for a class, event or intensive, cancellations must be made up to 7 days in advance. To cancel a booking, please log in to your account and click on "View Bookings" and select the class, events or intensive you would like to cancel. You will see the "cancel booking" option below. A credit for the amount paid will be issued back to your online account with us within 24 hours and can be used towards future bookings.
If you cancel within 7 days of the class, event or intensive due to sickness or work, we require a doctor's note or proof of work in order to issue a credit. If you cancel within 24 hours of the class, event or intensive and/or are a no-show, no credit will be issued under any cirucmstances.
NOTE: If you are enrolled in our Monday Night Class, please review our "missed class" policy on the Monday Night Class page on our website.
Industry substitutions
All of the agents and casting directors that we invite to our classes and events are very busy industry professionals as well as human beings with life circumstances that may arise. In the event that an industry guest is unable to attend an event, another guest from the same office or a comparable industry member will attend in his/her place.
NOTE: If the industry member who is booked for a 1 Night Intensive has to reschedule, there will be a make up date. If you cannot make this date, you will receive a credit for a future 1 Night Intensive.
Class time changes
On occasion, our one night intensives and classes may need to begin a little later than anticipated due to a casting director's life/professional circumstances.
Technical glitches
For those attending classes or intensives: we do our very best to ensure that our high-tech camera/QuickTime/computer system runs smoothly and that your on-camera work at our classes and intensives is recorded without any issues. It works 99% of the time. In the 1% chance that there is a technical glitch and we are somehow not able to email you your on-camera work, we cannot be held responsible or liable.
Class/intensive videos When you attend a class or intensive at the AGR, we record your on-camera work with the designated casting director and email it to you. These videos are for education purposes only and are NOT to be posted on YouTube, Facebook, or any other public viewing site. Any actor who violates this policy will be banned from attending future classes, events or intensives.
Age requirements
Most of our classes, events and intensives, unless otherwise noted, are for ages 13 and up.
For the parents
If you are a teenager and are attending something that is for ages 13 and up, we do not allow parents to attend the class, intensive or event in which you sign up for. Under no circumstances will a parent be allowed in the audition room with you. If you are dropping off your teenager at a class or intensive and wish to wait at a coffee shop etc nearby, that is fine, but we cannot accomodate you waiting in our offices. If you are accompanying your teenager to a large event at a studio, you are welcome to wait in the holding room with your teenager but cannot go into the audition room. If you register your child for a class or intensive that is open to ages 5-12, you are welcome to sit in our offices (but not the classroom) while the class is in session but cannot go into the audition room. All of our classes and intensives are on-camera and we email every actor their on-camera work which contains verbal feedback. All of our events (unless otherwise noted) contain written feedback. As a parent you are welcome to watch and peruse the feedback after the class, intensive or event.
