For Week Two:
Our assignment for the 2nd portion of class is below and should be approached with a most natural, authentical, conversational and personality driven delivery.
Each actor is to plan out 2-3 mins (no more no less) to be a "talking head" and talk direct to camera (aka audience) with a humorous spin. If nothing comes to you that's personal, feel free to scour other talking head segments like ones you'd see on vh1 and the like or articles that resonate for you. Shows like the Daily Show also work if you were a correspondent without a body:) Have fun with it.
Opinion, POV and vibrant personable storytelling is the goal. Please pick a topic that means something to you and/or your knowledge base ie:

Absolutely no monologues or scenes from plays will be allowed.
Wait List Policy
If a class is sold out, you can sign up for a spot on the wait list.
If a spot opens, the wait list is notified via email and the spot is sold on a first come, first served basis.
If you do not get the spot, you do not need to rejoin the wait list.
We do not offer refunds, but we do offer credit. Cancellations must be made 7 days or more in advance of a class, event, or intensive in order to receive a credit. You can cancel the class online in our booking system or via email.
Unless otherwise noted, if you cancel within 7 days of the class, event, or intensive due to sickness or industry related work, we require a doctor's note or proof of work in order to issue a credit.
Cancellations within 24 business hours of the class, event, or intensive and/or no-shows will NOT be credited under any circumstance. For example, if your class is on Sunday, you must cancel before the end of business on Friday.
Our Classes/Events are NOT job interviews, auditions or employment opportunities. The presence of an industry professional is in no way a promise of employment. The Actor's Green Room does not attempt to procure or promise employment, we are strictly an educational experience.
Casting director, producer, manager, and coach, Jodi is especially well known to the world of comedy working in every medium. She works on webisodes, animation, hybrid comedy (a particular sweet spot), improvised sketch; scripted tv for digital, broadcast and cable formats and indie feature films & shorts. Jodi is also heavily immersed in producing and developing new content for the digital world and work that addresses cross platform programming. Jodi's signature is her "outside of the box” eye allowing her to spot emerging trends and keep a constant beat on what's next. Jodi is always looking for and working with newly discovered talent with an affinity for under-the-radar performera and storytellers. It's her passion to bring fresh, unique elements & performers into all of her work. Her sensibility has a downtown flavor with commercial access and has discovered talent that often shares this bite made up of mostly HYPHENATES (i.e. writer, writer/director, performers and a combination thereof). Jodi Collins with partner co-producer Jodi Lieberman of the Montreal Comedy Fest (of many years) are the executives of the LA & NY based company, JLC Entertainment Group where they are producing and pitching a number of projects at present. JLC's client base is working in and developing work for every medium.
