As actors our bodies are our businesses; while we spend hours focusing on the words that come out of our mouths, often there is little to no thought about what goes into them. Food affects not only our health and physical appearance, but is directly tied to our emotions.

There is an overwhelming amount of information ‘out there’ on nutrition and different fad diets, but the only expert on what should go into your body is YOU.
Learn how to demystify your cravings, and choose the foods that will best feed your mind, body and spirit. Because eating should be fun and something we do as an act of love to nurture our instruments—only when we do this, can we expect them to perform at their highest level.
During the workshop we will talk about food: what to avoid and why, as well as, what we should be enjoying more of. We will touch on allergies and intolerances, food as medicine, and the concept of primary foods. The latest ideas about the gut brain and the microbiome will also be discussed. Finally, we will begin to build awareness around how the foods we are currently eating affect us now, and how to build healthier habits in the future.
