The 2 Week Class with Christine Kromer is designed for actors who would like to hone their on-camera techniques. Over two weeks, Christine will work with actors on refining and perfecting the techniques required for Drama & Comedy Roles.
The class begins with a Q/A with Christine. Next, each actor will get to work on camera with Christine on pre-selected sides and be supported by one of our outstanding readers and receive feedback from Christine. The rest of the class will get to watch and listen in the same room as each actor does their scene. Each actor's work will be emailed to them in the form of a High Definition Quicktime Movie the day after the class to review as they wish. This class offers a more intimate setting than our normal workshops and, as such, videos from this intensive are not intended for AGR Online.
Week 1: Drama Sides
Using sides, actors explore ways to prepare a scene that will help them make specific choices while also keeping them flexible for adjustments. In addition, how to specifically approach Drama sides for auditions will be addressed.
Week 2: Comedy Sides
Build on what you learned in Week 1 and apply it in Week 2. Actors will work with Christine on material for Comedy roles. Actors will break down and analyze what helps to create the most effective audition for these types of auditions.
Ages 13 and up are welcome!
